Does anyone have a list of the differences between the Mark 1 and Mark 2 Clubsports? Mark 1 were the 2001-2002 cars and Mark 2 are the 2003-2005 cars
.
Thanks!

Wheels and carbon mirrors/spoiler IIRC were the big changes. Believe only 86 483hp ones were built,

To best of my knowledge (owned a 1999 series 1 Clubsport for many years), most of the series 1 cars were 1999 and 2000 builds and all built at Weissach as a batch. There were a few from late 2000 early 2001 built at Stuttgart; these had electric mirrors and frunk/engine cover and did not have the rubberised dash material. The series one cars don't have a passenger side glove box.
Series 1 cars have a cable throttle vs drive by wire in series 2. The series 2 cars had variable inlet and exhaust cam timing vs only on inlet for series 1. The ECU is also different with the series 1 cars having the same ECU as the 993.
Most series 1 cars had cable frunk and engine cover release and manual adjust side mirrors using a stalk. Also a bunch of early clubsport cars were delivered with a short ratio final drive (my one was). A lot of these cars raced for a season before the 996 cup cars became available. Some also had a bolt-in front section for the roll cage; again for racing. Most of the series cars 1 cars made a good deal more than the claimed 360 bhp. With a catless exhaust my one made about 390. The doors on my one were Aluminum but apparently not all were.
