Default GT3 Fitted Luggage

Did anyone's car come with the luggage for the front compartment? My car did not but the parts man at another dealer says it should have? Thanks.

Best,

Don

Default luggage?

I carry as little as possible, certainly no luggage, keep the weight down!

I think there was an option for fitted luggage in the 40th Anniversary 996 order guide. There is no such option for the GT3 (at least in the US).

The 40th Anniversary 996 brochure says "On board your 911 Anniversary Edition you will find two exclusive leather cases" and "You will also receive a matching key case and a wallet...." Did not see this on the window stickers I looked at recently but I didn't inquire or look in the trunk. Wonder if dealers are omitting this intentionally? It makes no sense to me that such items would be included with the GT3.

I believe that Porsche sells luggage to fit the front boot. Not cheap!

Hi
Porsche makes fitted luggage- cases, suiters, breif case etc
in cloth (expensive), leather (very expensive),
and aluminum for...
Boxster rear,
Boxster and 996 Front
Cayenne Rear
The Porsche Selection Book (not the little catalog) shows which combination of items fit where.

They don't come with the car, best to haggle when buying it .

... and not really worth it (IMHO)

Thanks Guys. I know it could be ordered just wanted to be sure it was not included with the car.

Best,

Don

I remember you kept your 40th Anniversary luggage. Have you tried to see if they fit the GT3's trunk? The GT3 is based on an AWD chassis and has a different size trunk.

The large one has to go behind the seats. The smaller one fits in the trunk.
