Yea, It's got plenty of cheesy options like power sport seats, aluminum dials, crests and some other stuff but not the full bad taste treatment. I'm thinking + / - $95 range.

Used GT3's are already selling @ appx 10-15K below MSRP??
Perhaps I shouldn't pull the trigger on the new one I ordered? Wait a bit an pick up one w/ 2-5K miles on it and save a ton w/taxes alone.
I was hoping these bad boys would hold their value better than a good 'ol C2. What am I missing here?

I don't think that you are missing a thing. GT3s that sold for ~102K to 105K will hold their value just fine. I don't see anything going for less than 100K, used or not. It looks like the production of GT3s will be quite a bit lower than anticipated, and I think that once they are gone, the price will stay high. Cars that went for over 110K (with extreme leather or PCCBs) will probably drop to the value of the other cars. Just my opinion, though.

As Larry sez it's the cars with the overloaded option lists that are going to see the big drop in values. Not that this is any different from the standard used car market where options are worth a small fraction of what they added to the price of the car when new. The cars at Walter's in So Cal with over $30K of options I expect to sell much lower than sticker as I can't see a "true" GT3 enthusiast buying one of them except to rip out the foofy crap.

Some how I managed to rack up $13k in options but I didn't think I bought any of the "foofy" crap. I guess the bulk is in litronics, thicker steering wheel, and paint (wanted a unique color). No power seats or herd of cows. Am I not a "true" GT3 enthusiast?

I think that Steve was probably referring to the host of options that would really only appeal to the "garage queen" mentality. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but racers won't pay for leather wrapped turn signal indicators, and painted seat backs (for seats that are coming out anyway. BTW, who are you? Are you a Riesentoter member? E-mail me off-line.

I'll admit to some "foofy" options myself like the painted door finishers and seat belt outlets but I blame my neices who helped spec the car. Other "foofy" options I take the blame for are the stainless door sills (won't scuff like the stock plastic) and the GT3 logo on the storage compartment lid. And blue belts but they were a freebie. I also ordered Litronics and cruise control but I tend to do a lot of highway driving late at night. A/C was a given as I do live in FL. I would have ordered the thicker steering wheel but I have the Alcantara steering wheel, gearshift and handbrake from the GT3RS to be installed after delivery. Options I just can't imagine buying on a GT3 but present on at least one of the cars at Walter's: Electric Sport Seats, Footwell Lighting, Sport Seats Painted To Match, Rear Center Console - Leather, Lowered Seats (-10 mm)

I think that this is getting off-topic, but my 2 cents here. There is no such thing as a "true" enthusiast. There are racing enthusiasts, there are concours enthusiasts, etc. No-one is right or wrong. If someone wants to take a GT3 and beat the crap out of it on the track, or drive the wheels off of it on the street, or wrap it in plastic and show everyone what a great car he has, so be it. To each his own. It is still a great car, and mine will be definately be driven on the track.

I ordered:
White (no cost) - Red RS decals will look great
Xenons (I want to see at night)
Cruise control (I'm lazy on the Highway)
A/C (for 100K I'm getting A/C - I don't care how much it weighs)
Radio (see above)
Stainless doors sills (my concession to style)
