Thanks Larry, when you let yourself Really think of justifing such an expenditure it's nice to be reasurred
But who really know? Sure hoping for minimum production numbers. Anyone else care to chime in?
The one I ordered is $106,4xx.
I too tried to keep it basic.
Could have taken it home tonight, but it Snowed again, that means no driving from dealer until sands are gone & Stone / Amourfend applied.

my 2 cents...
Personally i like stripper cars but that does not mean that i would order one.
in fact if i were to order a GT -3 it would have a bunch of options
Special paint (either Gulf Blue or Sunnoco Blue)
Full leather w/stiching everywhere in color
lid's, cruise, thicker wheel, etc.
If i were buying off the used market i would again look at all of the cars (even PCCB cars since the switch is realitively cheap)
but i would give no real increase in value to highly optioned cars - the prices should be similiar in the end after negociation.
i am of the mind that options don't add much to the re-sale of the car.
while i belive they will hold strong value i don't see them in the same class with 73' RS's yet (some day but not now) since there will probably be another version in the states every 5 years or so.
to prevent scuffs (or at least make them repariable) i would add an additional layer or 2 of clear coat - then buff as needed or just replace

Cupcar: Special paint is not available on the '04 GT3. Nor will Porsche paint a car in Gulf Blue as a friend discovered a couple of years ago when he ordered a paint to sample 996 C2 in Gulf Blue and Porsche wouldn't do it.

And BTW - CONGRATULATIONS - your are the 50th Rennlist Cover ( https://rennlist.com )
