My used 02 GT 2 sold at Gaudin Porsche third week in January, for 163, Call Valerie at 702 284 7000 to verify numbers for non believers. Maybe it's only snowing when you look out the window in your world. By the way Watt, what color is the sky in your world when you look out the window. I was just curious?

Les.
let's skip it. we know there's a lot of drug use in LV making for poor purchase decisions: cars, wives, bets, etc.
as long as your market obtains, i'll always find a buyer, and as long as my market obtains, i'll always be a buyer. a perpetual motion machine of market inefficiency. happens in equities as well

Les, whoever bought your GT2 for 163 must have been either retarded or needed to launder money from illicit activities.
Well, it is Vegas after all, anything goes.
Maybe I can sell my M5 for $100,000 out there to some guy who got lucky on the slot machines.

Actually the guy who bought my car is successful in the construction business here in Vegas, I am familiar with many of his projects. Who does not appear to me to be a drug dealer or mentally handicapped. But all those buildings could be a clever ruse to disguise his southwestern drug cartel. By the way Watt didn't your 02 Gt with about 6000 miles sell for 140? So how is Alfie's 04 Gt 2 one of 16 worth only 160? Also I personally observed at our local highline dealers only auction a 02 GT2 go for 155 in December. I also know of a dealer in Atlanta who sold their 02 GT 2 for 160 in January. So GT 2 market may not be as bad as you want it to be Watt you magnifcent grinder!!!!

wow... i've got equity in my car, what a great feeling!!!
i heard gt2's will go up another 55% in value after the '04's are spoken for, since the CGT is sooooo expensive.

Les, your dealer makin' mo' news
Les,
your Gaudin bud.s made more news, other than fleecing the gt2 buying public... here's a quote from the Extremist:
Porsche. The free fall for Porsche sports car sales continues. There were a total of 844 Porsche sports cars (Boxsters and 911s) sold in January 2004, as opposed to 1,345 sold in January 2003. On the other hand, there were 1,374 Cayennes sold last month. Porsche loyalists insist that this doesn't matter, that Porsche is still predominantly a sports car company and that the essence of Porsche remains intact. Not so fast, my friends. It seems that whatever the Porsche "essence" once was, it has nothing to do with the new Porsche - now referred to by us as "America's Fastest Growing Truck Company." As an example, we relay the following anecdote: Sounding somewhat less than enlightened, Gary Ackerman, owner of the Gaudin Automotive Group in Las Vegas, and a member of the Porsche board of regents, was quoted in Automotive News as saying that the new V-6 engine in the Cayenne would attract "a lot of customers who have never bought a Porsche, like someone who wants one for his wife. It's a whole new world for us." Yes, and we're quite sure that all the "little ladies" left out there will absolutely flock to your dealership, Gary. Maybe if you add a special welcome kit for them with gift certificates redeemable at the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace - you could sell even more V-6 Cayennes! Or wait, maybe a special Gaudin "Vegas" Special-Edition Cayenne - with special accoutrements designed just for the "little ladies" who will be sure to come in for a visit! And to Robert Schwarzenbauer, the new CEO of Porsche Cars North America, we'd like to say, "Good luck" - you'll definitely need it. A whole new world indeed...
