Look at the 991.1 vs. the 991.2 GT3 RS times. ~20 second time difference from tweaks in aero, spring rate and new N spec tires. Peter's car has the equivalent of those modifications over a stock 996 GT3 or RS and the video has a 200 lb passenger in the car which in my experience equates to about 1 second in lap time difference over a 60 second lap period.
Peter, curious what tires you were on?

You're looking at times from 14 years ago, some of the biggest advancement in lap times over the last 10 years of so has come in the form of tire development, the rubber we can get today is MUCH better than it was years ago. Plus Peter's car has some really nice upgrades on it that are going to help the times along...esp those high end shocks and the aero bits even better than 996 cups of the day.

I should also add that we where very lucky with running the entire Scuderia course in ideal conditions, cool and dry. Tremendous amount of grip.
