Dyno Results 3-28-18
Running NASA TT and needed a Dyno (DynoJet). Went to The 7's Racing at the Buttonwillow Racetrack in Buttonwillow, CA. Tom Dragoun and his wife Bette are always so kind and cordial, and they know what they are doing. And they have two (2) great dogs a Lab and a herder dog.
I have video of the dyno "event": Huge file.......Max HP 336, at 7,500 RPM, the 257 Ft Lbs of torque showed up at about 5000 RPM.
Ran the dyno in 5th gear 1:1....at 8,000 RPM the Dyno "driver" told me he saw 175 mph on the speedo, and then aRE SOME LONG GEARS.......good God, this car is a beast. Looks like I'll be in TT3 with NASA and M3 with POC.
NASA is great for mid-state (CA) guys like me, we can run Buttonwillow, 1:15 minutes away, and Sears Point, about 4 hours north, even Thunder Hill 6 hours north....then there is Laguna Seca, 1:30 with the POC, and to other Clubs....track heaven out here, run year round. And let's not forget Willow Springs, 3:30 from me.
I'll post the video as soon as I can figure out how to edit it down a bit.
