Subframe
Thanks for the responses. Restating my question.
I have the following:
Rear left 997 cup side member
Rear right 997 cup side member
Rear left and Rear right 996 GT3 RS uprights
(steel 996 GT3 caliper bolt spacing not the PCCB spacing)
Front 997 cup subframe
Front pair 996 GT3 RS uprights
(not PCCB spacing)
Is it possible to run above setup?
and if so will standard 996 GT3 wheels (size and offsets) work/fit?
I have read on the forums that 997 gt3 wheels will not fit 996 GT3 (fronts might work, rears will not - is this because of subframe (front and rear) dimensions/stackup?

Dont u have the standard 6-gt3 subframes? The RS uprights work 100% fine with them so why not just use them and make it easy. Using 7 subframes on a 6 always seam to cause issues.

If running 996 GT3 RS uprights would you have to buy coilovers that were made for the 997.1 GT3?
Basically would the damper dimensions be different 996 GT3 be 996 GT3 RS?

Yes of course....
I asked because I find at Porsche's specified stock ride height of 128mm in the rear there would be too much spring preload (standard 60mm ID and I think 140mm length mains). I've set mine at 105mm front 120mm rear as a baseline which then the rear preload is reasonable.
