^996gt3 front hood is not aluminum unlike the 997 generations and on. I try the paint dent removal 1st but definitely paint got chipped looking at your picture. I think you're pretty loyal to this car and vice versa. Get another new hood and paint it to match. That autograph is sentimental to you. Mike

Paintless dent removal and bit of touch up paint as stated before. Be patient with the touch-up and do it until it in many layers until you build a little bump when dry. Then buff flat and polish and you will be amazed. If you have not watched dent removal in person, it is something to behold. They can even put back the orange peel in the metal.

My gt3 had a dent poking up in the roof, long story. Anyhow after remove and replace headliner, they fixed it in a hr, perfect.
