Not really. The 964 RS America continues to appreciate even as 993 comes down in value, or 996 ad 997 come down in values. And they make more RSA than 996 GT3.

The uniqueness of the GT3 speaks for itself and its valuation.

I've seen RSA values declining. They are great cars, but really just a glorified C2. They will never be a real RS.

I think more than anything the values just outpaced the market. They doubled/tripled in a few short years and are now seeing some pull back. The values also may be affected by the true RS being over 25 years old and legal to import. Twice the price but may take some of the higher end buyers out of the pool.

I'm still slowly looking for a 6/3, but I can't justify 7.1 gt3 money for one.

just my opinion, and based on owning/tracking all previous versions (996 and 997) of the GT3, including a 4.0...the 996 Gt3 is a very unique man-car-track experience.

I'm a size large...

What happens at the "track" stays at the track!

I wouldn't disagree but as a buyer it is tough to rationalize an older potentially higher mileage vehicle for more money. Many nice 996's for sale right now, but it looks like the threads are full of people saying how great the deals are, not people buying said great deals.

I am currently looking for a 6/3 as previously posted, but there's a 997.2 gt3 sitting at 95K (IIRC) right now with no takers as of yet. For high 80's or into the 90's, I would have to go that route over a 996. That's my opinion anyway.
