Default WTB GT3

Toying with the idea of adding one to my collection. Intrigued by this generation and like the price point compared to 7.1 cars. If you have one you're interested in parting with, let's talk. Would prefer one not kitted out for the track but let me know what you have and we can talk! I'm in NorCal but not opposed to an out of state sale.

Seeing much movement on this? I am in a similar position but will likely wait to see what comes to market over the winter.

What are you looking for;
Max miles?
Max track miles?
How much track prep, ie welded fittings, guards LSD, but stock exhaust, spoiler, seats, roll-bar, etc?
Acceptable over-revs?
Color?
Track patina?

Planned future use, ie 1-2 track weekends /year, Canyon driver, or 8-10 track weekends w/ occasional weekend drives?

Miles and track miles probably important information to share.
I listed my track prepped car for about 4 months (April-July) and I found most buyer said they were looking for a lightly prepped track car with some miles, but purchased a non-tracked car with as few as 12 and 17k miles.

I decided to keep mine (46k miles) for now, and I have rebuilt the brakes with new pistons etc, and I changed out coil-overs with Ohlins as I plan to drive it more - both on and OFF the track. Serviced in July and tested compression and performed leak down, engine is in new condition. Car is still available for sale to any interested party.

Great questions. I'm pretty open, honestly. Planned usage is going to be weekends, canyons and few track events, maybe 1-2 per year at the most. I'd prefer a mild-moderately track prepped car but not one that has been run into the ground. Proper maintenance is a must and range 1-3 over-revs are okay. Color is anything but black. Some track patina okay but again not pitted fronts and windshields.

We're on the same hunt. FYI 996's have two ignition ranges 1 and 2, not 6 like the 997's

IIRC

Range 1:> 8200 and < 8800
Range 2:> 8800

Good luck on your quest. I got mine from a fellow RLer which to me was the best scenario of all. That being said a PPI is a must even if you buy a car from Jesus H Christ.

Magnus added a 6GT3 to his fleet last year which adds some degree of street cred for car which is pretty much god-like yet still viable to buy and actually drive.

Thanks for the offer. Miles a little higher than I would like but sounds like a good deal if you end up putting it for sale.
