Thanks. I have dozens of these discs since BMW uses the exact same system.

I think you misunderstood my post, so just for clarity - I'm not at all precious about this kind of stuff. However, I wasn't going to start poking holes in my carpet without asking a few questions; frequently these anchors have receivers on the back-side of the carpet, so before I did anything I wanted to ask other users if there was a specific procedure. Sounds like it's pretty straightforward.
