Carlsbad, CA PPI other than Hoehn?
Hello, I need to have a PPI done on a 996 I'm considering. The car is in Carlsbad, CA but has always been serviced by Hoehn Porsche and was sold by Hoehn to the current owner (who will sell the car to me).
So I think an independent shop would be less partial to evaluate the condition of this car. Any suggestions?

If the seller would agree to take the car a little south to San Diego, many good independents available there. +/- 20 miles. South Orange County is north about +/- 25 miles and many good independents there. Unfortunately, not much available the immediate area of Carlsbad.

996 PPI
Jon: Call Encinitas German Auto 760 753 0105. 7 mi. south of Carlsbad. Their PPI includes body damage check, leaks, belts, OBD11 codes, CEL, interior, suspension, tires, etc. Ask for Shelly. Main mechanic is Jim. Earliest appointment Fri. PPI takes 1.5 -2 hrs depending on car. They say they know and work 996 cars. They sounded legit to me.

I had mine done at Charlie's in Encinitas. This is my first Porsche but they have serviced my BMW's for 20 years without a problem, and their Porsche mechanics were very thorough.
