Before responding, I suggest you read Porschetech’s original comments to me. Does that seem helpful or respectful? Fortunately there are many that are.

Dude you have 20 posts compared to others in the thousands
2. Respect is earned not given a little more tact and gracefulness gets you everywhere
3 research then ask questions
4. you revived a 5 year old thread without explanation

I think PT3’s question was legit. LOL when I read it.
Mr Baransky may think he is still on the 993 forum as all his previous posts are there.

Totally agree with your Line item #2. Wish more people thought that way....But a "curt" response if you can call it that is not deserved or appreciated when someone is seeking assistance and has given no cause to be given such an initial response.
Some really great people on this forum.....very helpful. But there always is the exception.
My reasoning, to ask was that I did experience the CEL problem this past month. And continue. Most of the responses have been great but I have not experienced the problems that lead up to some of their research. The quest continues...

You could say something like " Sorry for "reviving and crashing" a 5 year old technical thread , with a totally irrelevant post in the wrong car type" ....
