So.. I managed to drive a 993 and then a 996 C4S back to back. It was fantastic fun. Had never driven a 993 before and it was very familiar as I have a 964.. just feels a little more polished! The C4S though is a really fantastic all round machine.
It was great to drive the Last air-cooled and fist water-cooled so close to each other!

I like the depth of the analysis you provide. Most youtube videos are sorely lacking in that department.

It would've been, however, interesting to compare the 993 C2 with a '99 996 C2, a more direct comparison. Especially since the 996 C2 weighs a few pounds less and still has a cable connecting the gas pedal with the engine.

But yes, please post your next video here as well. Looking forward to it.

Guys, thanks for the kind comments! Yes a 996C2 would have been better but this is really a hobby for me and I have to make do with what I can get hold of.. similarly driving other peoples' cars on public roads i will push them a little but definitely nothing like as hard as they could be!
