Default Aftermarket headunit radio cable?

Not sure how many of you are running a standard single din aftermarket unit, but on the Alpine I installed the radio connector is different from of course...., the factory plug in. I purchased two separate adapter cables, and neither of which are correct.

Would anyone happen to have a part number for the plug I need? Having a hard time distinguishing what's needed.

Take a look at Crutchfield, they are quite good at understanding these connections with good customer care. It's best to call them and talk with someone.

Check here for examples: https://www.crutchfield.com/shopsear...tor_cable.html

Check with these guy's, they provide everything you need for plug and play for your Alpine hook up.

+1 on Crutchfield. My wife bought me my radio as a gift, but she ordered the wrong harness. I called them and they confirmed it was the wrong one. Sent me the right one for free.

+996 on CAI. They make their own wiring harnesses for connecting aftermarket head units to Porsches. I purchased my Alpine HU (single DIN) from them with their harness--works perfectly. They're a wonderful company with which to do business also.

Thanks everyone, decided to contact CAI and have some bits on the way and should be good to go.
