Autobahn!
This is A3 in Ruhr Area (Ruhrgebiet) close to my hometown of Duisburg. I am sure it is one of the most congested highways in the world, after the Ruhrschnellweg, A40. You rarely can drive faster than 120 km/h, except in the night.
I drove these roads back in the early 90s for 5 years. I remember that nothing less than 130KPH was a pretty safe speed to keep myself out of trouble IF I returned to the slow lane as soon as available. Anything less than that speed had faster cars bearing down on me in the fast lane is the blink of an eye. I would love to have driven my 996 on the Autobahn. The nearest I have is the PA turnpike and even that has a 70mph limit.
I travel in Germany for work all the time and it spoils the heck outta me....I get so freaking pissed off coming home to left lane hogging **** hats who have no reason to be out there.
Would love to have my 996 over there...but the best I've had is about 235-240kmh downhill with a tailwind in an A4.
Love making the Munich to Nuremberg run or Munich/Stuttgart when there is no traffic.

I rented a Porsche in Germany for a week in 2010, and again in 2014. I drove around Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. I had a chance to drive on an unlimited speed section of the Autobahn on both visits, and it was nice. The fastest that I drove was 265 kph. It's nice being able to drive fast in a country where people know and respect the rules of the road. One thing that always surprised me was how frequently I'd be passed by a VW Golf or something similar when I was cruising at 220 kph.

Low friction tires???? That seems a strange concept...
