Default Great Review of the 996

I'm sure a number of you know of Doug DeMuro. Check out this great review, I've never heard anyone speak this highly of the 996 before. Great to hear!

Doug DeMuro knows how to make money on youtube lets put it that way. He knows the 996 is currently hot on the market so he does a rave review on it to get the attention and support. As a result, this will get more folks to subscribe to his channel which = more $$$ in his pocket. Most of the things he said on his video is true and in my mind will help bring higher value to the 996. This is good for current owners but bad for potential buyers.

He is a former 996 tt owner, so his review is genuine. He has become one of my favorite car reviewers due to the fact he takes a hobbyist approach and has no agenda to each car that's reviewed.

But he needs to get better cameras and microphone and shoot different angles when he's inside the car while test driving. I'm tired of looking at his facial expression and rather see the car and road.

This review was better than a lot of the reviews this guy has done. He did miss some big points, and did say a few things that simply weren't right, but at least it was all positive.

He did a review on the VW 181 (Thing) that was horrible. I have seen lots of his others that were equally horrible.

The agenda is usually "what will get me the most clicks." His history as a blogger at Gawker's Jalopnik always shines through, like with his recent "Here's why the NSX is actually great!" video that was clearly a contrarian fluff piece angling for views since by most accounts the new NSX is a stillborn dud. Likewise with all of his "here's why X is worth Y!" clickbait titles.
