Default Sorry, another will these fit question.

Need wheel fitment help please. The 19's I ordered don't fit how I wanted them to (the rears stick out too much, rear tires too stretched, and front rubs on the fender liner at full turn.

So on to try to find another set. Will this set up work on a 996 NB?

Champion motor sports RG5, Rears 19x10 et44, Fronts 19x8.5 et46

Bridge potenza re050a, 305/30/19 and 235/35/19

Thanks in advance all of you wheel gurus!

Really guys, to me this is like trying to read a foreign language....I just want to know if they will fit. Yes? No? They were on a 996 turbo and I have a NB.

IMHO, those offsets are no-where near the correct offset for a NB carrera.

Use this website to help visualize the impact of going with different wheel sizes.

I agree with B3. I think your best starting point is to find wheels you like with as close to the stock offsets as possible for a NB 996. This thread may be helpful:

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-a-996-c2.html

Based on this thread, I suspect you need wheels with higher offset and either a narrower (295/30) or lower profile (315/25) tire in the rear to get closer to the correct diameter. But I'm not a wheel guru.

Sorry I can't help with your original question ... just too much difference in dimensions for me to have a clue. A vendor who specializes in Porsche wheels (Wheel Dynamics, maybe?) might be able to recommend some options.

I second this and was also going to put that link on my response. Although many disagree with 19" wheels, I not only like them but have them on my 2004 C2. The fronts are 8.5 w 50mm off-set 235/35/19, rears 11 w 64mm off-set 295/30/19 and no rubbing at all. My car is stock height.

Forgot to mention this wheel and tire comparison site that really helped me out when determining fit. Best comparison site IMO since you input both wheel and tire info and results tell all.

The specs you listed are for a wide body, C4S or TT. IIRC the stock offset for a narrow body 996 are 55mm all the way around. SO I don't think they will work for you.

It's my understanding that the OEM specs for 996 wheels are front 50/52 offset l, rear 65 offset.

I have the original solid turbo twist wheels on my 99 and they are 7 inch 55mm front and 9 inch 55mm rear.

Correct, for 18" option anyway.
