Default Anyone running an iPod/aux adapter with success? Advice please

So I picked up this cable for my 2002 911 with the upgraded Bosch stereo.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-AUX-in-A...3D252305333280

Installation is a breeze as you simply unplug the factory blue/green connector and plug in the new cable. The issue that Im having is that nothing is being detected.

i read somewhere that I may need to disconnect the cd changer at the front of the car. Is this correct?

thanks for the help.

This thread has the answer there is a special key press to enter AUX mode:

For future reference here, you hold down the TP button for 8 seconds until the screen says 'BECKER 1', turn the right dial until 'AUX OFF' appears on the screen, then press either button directly under the display for the arrows to change the setting from 'AUX OFF' to 'AUX ON'. Turn radio off. Turn radio on, AUX is now a source mode. Gotta use an inline noise cancelling isolator to prevent any feedback noise (re: NO on the $7 eBay cables- one now resides in my trash).

Rock on.

Also the head units are made by Becker not Bosch
