To replace halogen or are you looking to replace the factory HID bulbs?

I went with all LEDs a few months back. I got really tired of messing with HID kits that always failed. The LEDs have been flawless. I have them in all four of my vehicles for headlights and fogs.

I've been happy with The Retrofit Source
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/al...rsche_911_2003

Upgraded to 55w from 35w and the difference was quite noticeable

Does the LED fit with the heatsink/fan setup on the back of the bulb? I am on the fence because of that. I saw another post someone cut the back of the enclosure and that's one thing I don't want to do. Did you have to cut the back to allow cooling?

I didn't have to cut anything. I've had them in for a few months and no problems so far.
