A drilling guide, to prevent the drill bit from walking, for example when removing snapped off bolts. Description and pictures on this thread.

The best use of the dental pic is installing O-ring and rotating the pic around the o-ring once installed to straighten the o-ring, which almost always twist during the install.

Pretty promising flashlights, had them about a week. I am always loosing or breaking old fashioned flashlights.

Good features of these:
- about the size of a large pen, easy to carry in a pocket, light weight
- multiple light sources gives better lighting, rather than one strong LED or lamp with only one source point of light
- magnetic
- a little clip to attach somewhere
- only $10 for two of them

Nice. I bought one Snell's sewing lights. It quickly became my go to for working on the car. But warning, the magnet is pretty strong and if the base comes apart while trying to pick it up it will shock the boogers out of you.

Nothing special but I use my powered ratchet more than any other tool. This one isn't high torque but I use it for most of my 10, 13, 14, 15 mm nuts that are found across the car.

Ok, this cool tool is a not so cool tool used in a cool way. It is so obvious that I know many people are going to be like, duh! But it was pretty revolutionary when I was working on a cayman this week and having to get some tough bolts back into some tight spaces. So I put the bolt on the telescoping magnet and used it to get bolts back into holes that there was no way my hands could reach. Even at crazy weird angles I was able to pull it off. And depending on the angle, I was even able to spin the magnet and get the bolt partially threaded.

You want to talk tool **** ? I recently spend $1,000 on replenishing my tools that have "walked away" . Sadly it's not many items. Hazet / Kinepx / Wera items.
I don't use strap ons (snap on) on german cars.

Those are really nice. I actually use skinny colored electrical tape to color my sockets and wrenches. Luckily on a 996 you really only need 10,13 and 15-19. 11 and 12 are always handy but too rarely used to color code.

Cordless electric ratchet. Doesn't have high torque but super convenient for spinning in bolts, especially when you have limited space to swing a ratchet handle. With a long extension this baby took out the upper bell housing bolt in 15 seconds!
Snap On 3/8 Techangle digital torque wrench. Bought this used from a local mechanic. Goes way down to 7 ft lbs and all the way up to 100, plus angle torquing. Has progress light showing how close you are to the torque setting and vibrates when you are there.
