Default head light washer nozzle

can the top of the washer nozzles be replaced, or does the whole unit from the end of the supply hose up need to be replaced? IE is the nozzle tip itself available / replaceable?

It does not have a cover and the unit has 2 nozzles. It is black plastic.

Part #: 996-628-333-00-M100 is the whole thing.

the car is a C4 cab, maybe that has a different unit than the one detailed in the post above.

Gretch, the part you listed is the headlight washer nozzle. From the part diagram, it appears to be one piece.

I think it's a different part for the 996.1 with litronics.

I have the same issue - see below - but I never really use the washers so I just l kind of ignore it. But if you do find a source for the nozzles let me know!

Prezackly what happened to me this AM. the nozzle blew out while driving. gonzo.

I don't use them either but happened to push the stalk in rather than pull it out.......

I may just put a plug in the hole. $180 for the complete replacement unit is over kill for something I do not use.

You may be able to find a used one in working order from LA Dismantlers or Specialized German (Ebay)

Mine were broken so I just removed them and installed the plastic clear corners instead!

That's a great idea. I don't think I've ever used mine in the two and a half years I've owned my car.

I'm not sure if the washers only came on the c4 for winter driving. I may have just made that up but sounds right.
I never used my washers because I didn't want to dirty my car.

I replaced the broken washer with 2 clear corners from ebay for 60$. They came from Latvia brand new.

I bought the end nozzle from Suncoast and put it on myself. I was not expensive. Part 14 in the picture. YouTube videos on putting it on. It was easy.

I'm not sure if it's just the angle or what, but the headlight covers look great on that car! They look like they fit super flush and they give it a 959 look (at least from this angle...).
