Default Boxster dual mass flywheel in 996

Anybody has experience using a Boxster DMF (and clutch?) in a 996?
The advantages are lighter flywheel but with dual mass damping to protect the crankshaft. And cheaper parts.
Disadvantages no idea, most probably extra wear on the clutch. As the 996 is a heavier car.

The reason is. I am looking into a tiptronic -> manual conversion due to a toasted tip tranny (Yes the conversion is possible, cannot tell any details yet).
The one who might do it for says it works, conversion and the Boxster clutch/dmf. The testcase was a 997 tip conversion with a 3.4 motor.

I am asking here to get some second opinions. Not decided yet on the conversion. But I have already a shopping list and asking quotes for used and/or new parts and see if I will go for it. Moneywise a tranny rebuilt will cost me also some $$$. Take into account that good Porsche indys here in Europe do not charge a lot per hour (around 80$). So shop rates are pretty ok.
Buying a manual is also an option. But will need to swap the whole suspension.
