Help needed - retrofitting option XX2 footwell lights
I want to retrofit the footwell lights in my 996 Carrera. I have found the switch part and the tw light parts and their supportive brackets etc but no info on wiring which is crucial .
Has anyone does this retrofit and does anyone have a wiring diagram ?
From the little research I have done I have read that I need to put two relays fo r this to work properly as per factory spec and some wiring which apparently is not complicated. if anyone can help that with the above info / wiring diagram I am missing that would be great !

Do you want the footwell lights to come on and off with the door action as the door and inside center lights do? If so and you fail to locate the correct wiring diagram, my thinking would be to pick up the ground from the fuse box and link the switching to the same place as the center ones by tracking the wires back to wherever.
