Clam shell will not close when top is down
Hi Guys,
Just as my title states when the top goes down the clam shell remains open. 2000 Porsche Cab 37,000 miles. Last fall I had the hydraulic reservoirs replaced but because of the fall/winter season never tried it. What a mistake on my part. But tried it today and the top opened ok but the clam shell remains open. Tried the rear wing and the trunk lid but same issue. Any ideas before I drop it off to the local shop.

Make sure your winglets are properly synchronized with the rest of the roof mechanicals.
The answer to getting it going again may be about $0.0002 worth of white lithium grease on the threads of one of the winglet screws.

The winglets on the inner mechanism caused this on a car I was checking out. It became pretty clear when I had the owner actuate the switch while I watched the mechanism. One side swiveled, the other didn't. Moved it by hand and all was fine.
