I looked at the car today. Only place you can see red is under the car. Its done pretty well, but you can see that the car was painted which is a turn off for me.
The story is that owner was an Asian man that believed that Red is an unlucky color so he painted the car... don't really line up w/ the fact that red is usually a lucky color.

When you hear stories like this, you begin to wonder if the color red was so 'unlucky', then why did you buy it in the first place? (facepalm) Painting grey over a unlucky color, is like putting a bag over an ugly woman. The bag doesn't change the fact that there's still an ugly woman underneath.

I'm not Asian and my last name's not Miyagi and so it's cool with me! hahaha. But I do like the Grey tones too... as you can see. There are many colors I wouldn't paint a Porsche, but guards red, speed yellow ... and even that super rare green color is cool. I know this may bring out the natives, but there you go.

You sound like Hawk... it had to have a bright red car. Maybe influenced by his beautiful wife? I don't know, but lately, he has painted everything in that car guards red. hahahaa
