Yeah, I think any 2000 996 that was ordered with the three spoke wheel had the ultra-rare silver crest. If you see the full color crest on a 2000, the air bag isn't original to the car. I thought they put the silver crest on all three spoke 996's prior to 2001, but I could be wrong.

I had the stock tiptronic 4 spoke wheel didn't like it

got the 3 spoke one from a boxster, direct fit and perfect size (slightly smaller than 4 spoke)
