Default Have you ever had this happen to you?

My 9 year old daughter brought her ipad to me just now to show me that she saw my car on the internet. Sure enough, it was a pic of me driving my car. I followed the pic's link and found this:

Gotta admit, it was a little creepy. A few months ago, I saw a pic of my car parked outside the museum that someone posted on a carspotting site (a friend told me about it). That wasn't a big deal - it was parked in front of a car museum, after all. But this one is actually me driving down the street. I guess the lesson learned is that as much as we probably take these cars for granted after owning one for awhile, they do draw a ton of attention.

The funny thing is that there are a lot of very nice, waaay more expensive cars in this part of town. Hey, what a great compliment - I'll take it. Especially given that a new loaded Accord or Camry rolling off the dealer's lot probably cost more than what I paid for my car.

Good point. Now THAT would be unsettling.

Well, normally yes, but now I think it's worth something.

They must have used a ****ty camera for spotting my AMG. The plates are right, the car looks a bit off.

You shouldn't "spot" cars that you don't really know...

KC, I must admit you inspired my recent GoFundMe endeavor for reassignment surgery.

Really, that is a little creepy. They could have at least fuzzed out the license plate. I disagree with the comments. I think the wheels look great and so do the tail lights if you like the newer look.

agreed...I'd probably go so far as to ask them to take the pics down (I like the wheels, too).
