Thanks b3freak, I am hoping it's something I can figure out. This "transport mode" that has to be cleared by the dealer, let's just say I hope it's not that.

Looks like the only difference is a 5 amp where you have a 7.5 amp. Could that be the culprit?

"Transport mode"? Please explain.

This is an aftermarket radio right? It's my opinion that your symptom of losing radio settings is attributed to the Head Unit not being connected to the right power. With these radios, you need switched and constant 12V. Switched 12V is needed to trigger the HU when the car is turned on or off, and constant 12V powers the unit and retains the memory settings while the vehicle is parked.

None of my interior lights come on, unless the key is in the on position in the ignition. So I started looking that up and found stuff like this:

So I wonder if this is effecting the stereo as well???

Are you talking about fuse C7 (bank C, #7)?

If so, that fuse is not related to the radio wiring.

Oh, I got you. I never knew the car had such a feature. I've had cars towed and they usually don't care what mode they're end. hahaha Well, getting it back to "normal mode" would be a good first step which could solve electrical issues. But it appears that it has to be cleared by Porsche. ouch.
