very common issues in these cars.
i fixed it on my first Boxster when i replaced a leaking AC evaporator.
i took a lot of pictures just so i can put everything back in place.
the following weekend we had a tropical storm, so i staid at home, and created tease DIY guilds. i broke the project into three sections, so they can be used separately. if you only wish to clean it up, step 1 is enough.

Many thanks for the feedback.

To be on the safe side I will have the car flat bedded to my indy where I will instruct him to immediately change the IMS, AOS and RMS again and then begin to diagnose the problem...

The car lived in St Petersburg, FL before migrating to Houston a couple of years ago so the comment about heat and humidity make sense.

I will just deal with the black snow for now as the heater use is very infrequent.

I just bought a 2001 model in Houston and it spit foam pieces at me all the way to Atlanta.
Houston we have a (foam) problem!
