Love the car!

Step 1 - high temp brake fluid, pads, and X51 baffle kit.
Step 2 - meet me at Motorsports Ranch at Cresson TX for the most fun you can have legally
Step 3 - sell the Mustang to finance all of the road track upgrades you now want to do
Step 4 - smile

When people say the 996 is the ugly duckling these are the pictures I will show them. The stance, colour combination and small details make this car absolutely gorgeous. I would take this over a 997 or 991 every damn time.

Very nice example. The tinted windows and lowered stance really make it look great.

Default A beautiful 996...

Wow - you sure have a beauty!

I had to post (my first one!) as my recently acquired 996 (2000 C2) has 55,000 miles also...and could pass as the convertible twin to your 911. (Notice our son's Mustang trying to sneak into the pic! Is there something about Mustang fans and Porsche 911 owners?)

Congrats - you definitely have a keeper.

JLG7,
beautiful vert you have there. Yeah, I've noticed us Mustang fans always end up with a 911. I guess we have great taste

My Mustang is currently for sale so that I can make a move on the 911 I've been watching for a while!

Nice car - only flaw I see is the blown-out HVAC unit, which is easily replaced/repaired.

Thank you! Yes sir, going to have to repair the screen. There is a couple things in the interior that I'll address such as the driver seat left side trim piece is off because the clip broke. And the moonroof switch is not clipped into the panel, the clips seem to have broke off.

But mechanically, it's a very solid and well taken care of 911.
