yeah, maybe the 45 MPH is RoW and the 37 MPH is US spec... but i still don't know where the 55 MPH is coming from.

I know that my spoiler goes down at 45 mph, although the manual says 37.

The only thing I know is that a lot of numbers or going around.

And I just checked the owners manual and I was wrong the spoiler does retract @ 37MPH for the 996, I thought on the earlier 996's it retracted @ 45MPH. Oh well. But on the Boxster's it retracts @ 50MPH. Sorry my BAD.
