Default Wheels rotate on jackstands in neutral

Up on jackstands and whenever I start the car the rear wheel start spinning. They even increase in speed when I rev it. When I push the clutch in they stop. Is this normal? I just swapped out the shifter so I thought it might be in first but when I shut it off, they spin freely.

yes, normal and you could go and place your shoe on the tire and stop it. even though there no gear engagement, there is enough friction in the trans in neutral

Cool. I didn't actually have tires on so when I tried to grab the wheel studs it didn't work so well. Thx.
