I remember a poster who changed a plastic connector for a brass connector on the coolant line which he got from Home Depo a while back but dammed if I can find the posting. Today as I started the car, the serpentine belt caught and broke the plastic connector link here http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg2.htm#item6 its the first connector down the page at $6-50. The belt shredded itself. I have a new spare belt but need to replace the connector with the brass type he used situated right of the oil filler behind the belt. Anyone HELP..PLEASE

hey guys that was a quick response. I am going to Home Depo right now in the van. Gonna buy a few different sizes as I will leave the hoses on the car. I don't know how the hell to remove the original clamps anyway. I will buy jubilee clips.

OK all fixed up. Got a quarter inch brass hose barb, 2 half inch jubilee clips and electrical tie wrap around the hose to pull it back from the belt. Topped the system off with coolant. New belt installed. Done. Thanks guys.
For future or whoever wants to switch their plastic one out for the brass. The hose repair connector is 3/8" (9,5mm) sized. The kit I bought at local auto part store was a Vaper Brand 19345. Included two brass fittings and 4 small radiator clamps. I went to Home Depot and local car part store and got the OEM crimp style clamps to have a more clean professional look on mine. Drilled out old plastic fitting with 1/4" drill bit and installed new brass connection on the plastic bracket. Looks as good as the $40 upgraded version for sale on some website. It's been working great thus far.
