Default Engine hoist points with No Heads On?

I am putting the engine on the stand for full assembly this weekend. I would like to know safe points to put some bolts to lift it with. I don't have heads on it right now. I also need to know what thread size and pitch for the bell housing and the hoist points.

Thanks in advance

Not sure what state yours is in right now - when I put mine on the stand, I attached the front engine brace (the part that attaches to the motor mounts) on the front and then attached the yoke of the engine stand on the back - lifted by those points (both ends of the engine brace and then one point on the yoke).

That sounds very reasonable!

Anyone know the bell housing threads?

M12x1.50, if I'm not mistaken. I had a hard time finding bolts that had enough thread, in the end wound up using up extra long bolts and taking up the slack at the head with a ton of washers.
