Trunk wont latch?
any advice?.....i can hear the mechanism working when i operate the switch,however when i try to press down on the hood it wont click and latch,happened out of the blue,hope its just an adjustment........2003 C2

Either the latch is sticking open or something is preventing the latch from "latching". Spray some WD-40 on the latch. Is your latch electric? Maybe the latch solenoid is sticking causing the latch to stay open. For alignment, there are two rubber bumpers underneath the hood. Turn them in a bit to see if maybe one of them got "unscrewed" a little bit causing the hood to not settle down far enough for the latch to engage.
