I just picked up a 99 Cab with 33k a 6 speed. It has not been modified much, just an aftermarket stereo and some headlight covers (can't decide if they need to come off).
This is going to get complicated quickly I can see. 3 days and a little over 350 miles with out going anywhere is particular. I continually look down at the digital speedometer read out and go holy crap. Is this thing accurate?
It's handling is almost boring how easy and smooth it is to drive. I find myself going into corners, picking a line and the car does the rest. So so balanced...
But I am preaching to the Choir.
It passed the PPI with flying colors, needing only brakes, and I had all the fluids changed. The IMS has not been done. My mechanic told me to and I quote, "drive the **** out of it". He definitely is of the belief that the cars that are driven they way they were made for fail less. I am going with reasoning, I like it. I now understand why members here say that they run the car 3k and above. It is the sweet spot.
Other 911, Boxster and Caymen drivers always wave. Didn't know it was a club. And a M4 is really much faster than my Cab, but we both smiled and waved on the exit ramp.
I know, I know it's not true unless there are pics. My emblems on the wheels are not appropriately pointing to the valve stems yet. And my chick magnet, Dover loves the convertible aspect. Lastly my wife says I am so cliche, middle aged man in a Porsche Cab, I think she is right.

Contrats. I'm new to the club, too... ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If it's not asking too much, can I get you to post a photo of the headlight covers you mentioned? Curious which ones they are and how they look on the front of your car.
I'm torn between installing covers to make the H/L's look more rounded vs. leaving stock.
Truth told, the Amoeba/fried egg lights are starting to grow on me... Hence the reason I'm on the fence.

You also have the pricey Tech-Art sideskirts and front chin spoiler in case you didn't know. Those are somewhat exclusive as it was an expensive aftermarket mod not everyone did either out of being cost prohibitive or style/taste differences.

I do have the Tech-Art gas pedal and foot rest. (Don't know about the brake and clutch pedal, they are not labeled) But I didn't know about the skirts and chin spoiler. Nice.
Thank you for pointing that out.
And not to make people jealous, but it has the fancy cell phone under the armrest in the center console.
