I have a Canadian 911 with day time running lights. For some reason the front park light, side marker light and rear passenger twilight stay on when they should be off. I played around with various light switch setting and can't get it turned off. I've ready of similar issues on other 996s but can't seem to pin point the exact problem, any advise?
Car is a 2002 996 911 c2

I suspect your DRL relay is acting up. Someone actually opened one up and found the contacts to be bad inside. Maybe you can try that. Also, not sure if it's conclusive but if you remove the DRL relay, those lights should be OFF.

Driver's side kick panel way up above the fuses. The relay is wide and it takes up TWO relay slots - positions 6 & 7 shown here
