Default Cool Story Bro...

Lame rice award goes to...the guy on the 215 yesterday as the wife, the dog, and I were driving back home. We're cruising along listening to Cold Case Files on HLN (much more entertaining than most everything else on Sirius XM) and I hear someone downshift precipitously and start winding up through gears, banging off the limiter.

I counted 2+ gears...
weeeeeEEEBANGBANGBANG
weeeeeEEEBANGBANGBANG
weeeeeeeEE
before the puff of smoke behind the Honda in the right lane caught my eye and I noticed that he was sloooooooooowly pulling away from the other folks in the slow lane.

I genuinely felt a little bad - the car was very nicely kitted, and the exhaust note was much less terrible than many fart cans, but it was glacially sloooooooooooow to accelerate.

The dog opened one eye, sighed, and then went back to sleep...but he's strictly a V-8 fan. A Honda is not going to get him off the back seat of the Murano.

(he doesn't get to ride in the 996 very often - claws and that center console paint don't do well together)

Yeah, he digs the Corvette. The window sill is at just the right height for him when cruising for b*tches (he's a bit misogynistic. We're working on it.).

He likes people to think he is. His dog therapist says he needs to work on his "persona."

I think you have it wrong. The Miata and Boxster forums are what you're thinking of.

The 911 forums are stereotyped as a**holes. The 996 subforum is for cheap a**holes. Since I've had both a Boxster and a 996, I am a cheap tinkerbell with a**hole tendencies.

Please try to keep it straight.

Hurdi, that was awesome.

Crap is a noun, not an adjective, but it appears you have a curmudgeon exception allowance on file. The Russian judge has allowed it. (Unless, of course, you actually meant that it was attractive crap - in which case...thanks?)
