Default Fisters installed... dissapointed

My left OEM muffler was shot and had developed bad internal rattles and it was almost embarrising to drive around off the line up to 3,000 RPMS when the rattle would go away.

So, I purchased a used set of Fisters and when I went to pick the car up I could not tell any difference in sound besides start up. Probably due to the rattle being gone. Either way I put about 5 miles on my car and was quite disappointed with the lack of noise. I 100% can not tell a difference from before to now inside the car. Maybe it sounds different outside the car, but inside the car it doesn't sound any louder. Anyone else experience this?

My intake is still the loudest noise my car makes. Time for an X pipe and high flow cats I suppose.

I wonder if you got real fisters or if somebody just did the PSE hack on a set of cans. Take any pics of them?

You should notice a big difference. I love the sound of mine . Something does not seem right. I would look into it.

They cannot be Fisters. Unless you are deaf, you would notice the difference between those and OEM mufflers.

Sorry to hear this as I really enjoyed them. The only reason I went all out to finish the complete exhaust was the old modding itch.

The sound difference between Fisters and a complete system is honestly not that different. You might be surprised by the amount of noise they're actually making outside of the car.

There are track videos on my page with sounds from both and even now the intake is still much more audible in the car. With both systems however the exhaust is much, much louder outside the car especially above 3,000.

I would have to wonder if you got real Fisters also, they sound so much better than the stock mufflers.

Maybe your other mufflers were so clapped out that they were just as loud?

I'm not putting any blam on Vandersmith what so ever. They were his cans that I purchased and he was a great seller to deal with.

I also may note that due to my left muffler having internals loose my Oem exhaust may have been making more noise than it should have
