Slak: Good to see that you're still enjoying the car! Now quit hitting those barriers! At least this probably didn't cost you much/anything for track repair!
Observation of exhaust system sound if same as in previous vids...Sound is wonderful but my guess is ear plugs are necessary while driving to keep from squinting at top rpms!
While hot lapping my previously owned sprint car I forgot my ear plugs a couple of times. That mistake became painfully apparent first shot down the straight at full throttle! These days I say "huh?" a lot in conversations!

Thanks Slakker - I'll get with my exhaust fabricator and see if he can use these Magnaflows just after the header flange and then direct outlets through the (cut out) license plate area of the bumper.

Here's a pic of an SP996 that did exactly that. It looks much cleaner than mine.

And here's the video from the last time out at the track. I hit my PB of 1:21.6 in the warm up session which is pretty crazy since I was running 1:24's prior to the LSD upgrade. Then, at about the 12:00 mark (in the 2nd session) is where I throttle oversteer and the rear end decides it's sick of following and wants to lead for awhile. I'm blaming this one on the tires (in addition to driver error)because it really felt like I had full grip but obviously I didn't. This set of scrubs was crazy fast but they just felt different. But that's part of the deal when you spend $600 on scrubs instead of $2200 on stickers.

What fun until 12:20. I forgot how much fun it is; just you, the car and the track. What a great stress reliever. Blocks out most other things because the brain and body is so busy.
Thanks for the ride!

Rennline Wheel Studs. Studs are amazing if you have to pull the wheels off and on much but the Rennline are even better. The cone tip makes it very to get the wheel on or the nuts started. I know have the rear studs swapped out and am planning on upgrading the front studs soon. I know, the cone ends seem like a small thing but they really are nice to have.

OS Gikken, $2080 through GBox. They offer free installation but they are going to make money off talking you into a refresh while they have it.

Swapping out steering wheels. The suede was smooth and shiny on the old one. I picked this one up off the classifieds about 4 months ago but just getting around to installing it.
