Congrats. Great to hear about yet another high mileage car.
Looks like you were having some fun at the time.
Now get that CEL fixed.

Rob, your car nicely demonstrates the quality that Porsche puts into their cars. Not only does your car have all these miles, but every time you post a pic of it on FB, I marvel that it still looks like new.

That CEL is because of the aftermarket cat converters. I will clear it myself.

The paint on these cars is phenomenal.

I had a good friend from Texas visit me this past weekend. He's a big Toyota fan and proudly mentioned that his Tundra (that he drove to my house) was about to hit 180,000 miles and that he would quickly buy another one when the time was right. When he left my house the next day, he called thirty minutes later to say his transmission just went out. Guess "time" caught up with him.

Another closet 996 owner from RLOT!

Knowing you and Gretch are original 996 owners explains so much

Congrats on the milage. So what all have you done to it over the years to get it this far?

The aluminum gauge rings are the key to long life.

Congratulations and many more happy miles!

Congrats.

I'm surprised no one has asked if it was original IMS or not.

Are you on original chain guides/IMS paddles? What oil?
