I hate Starbucks coffee. Granted, millions upon millions of people clearly enjoy their coffee, I just don't get it. The just straight up Starbucks coffee tastes horrible to me. Burnt and bitter. Strong coffee can be smooth, but not from Starbucks. The reason for the burnt and bitter taste is because Starbucks roasts their beans at extra high heat to get the job done as fast as possible. I can't blame them since there are so many stores to stock.
I agree. I do like their sugary 1M calorie coffee drinks though but basically because they taste like crappy candy bars. Candy is good.

Well, I gotta go punch into the Keurig to make a Sumatran Reserve Extra Bold coffee. Then I'll probably check out the newspaper, play my waiting turns on on-line scrabble, and if I feel like it, sample the goods at a bar or two so that I can pay for it all.

Well, everyone knows that guys that drive Guards Red Porsches and drink designer coffee are just poseurs who are making up for their insecurities and/or certain physical shortcomings. Especially when they attempt to belittle posters on an anonymous forum by implying they have better jobs and presumably have more money than the other members, which of course means they don't, or they wouldn't even bring it up.
