Anyone know how hard or about how much to get a dark blue wing painted silver? Or would I be better off to wrap it?

I just had my wing painted silver, it was the seal grey prior and it cost me about $350 at a collision repair shop nearby...lifetime warranty and they did a great job
Edit: its also the mkii gt3 wing btw

Recently Ive been debabting to vinyl wrap my silver 911 either gloss black or glass white and looking at this particular wing I am beyond stumped as to how shops would wrap it...I have lots of experience vinyl wrapping cars btw but never had to deal with wings

Pictures of the wing? Any mod required to fit?

the only wings anywhere near a narrow body C2 should be the messy kind that you eat

Forget wrapping a Taco wing if that is what you're going with. That is gonna be very tricky to have it come out 100% clean.
Painting around me is around $300 avg based on quite a few estimates. They may have to shoot a sealer coat for a big paint change going from dark to light though. Every shop will be different in how they approach this.

it seems to me that $350 to paint a wing/rear lid is too cheap - a good shop will properly strip it/prep sand and then paint - no way $350 is gonna cover that - i'd guess 600-$700 do get er done right with excellent color match

You know that the first GT3 had the Taco right? The GT3 was first introduced as part of the 996 lineup and was originally only available outside the US (EU only?). It wasn't until the facelift that you could get a GT3 in the US which at that point had the ugly ping pong paddle headlights and breakfast bar wing.
The original GT3:
