Another surprise from my '99 C4...

Working to replace the starter this afternoon and I didn't pay too much attention to the parts coming off to provide "access" to the starter bolts (that bottom bolt is just SLIGHTLY harder to access than that one water pump bolt)...but tonight while I was cleaning up the throttle body and the plenum, I noticed this.
Nice surprise...thanks, previous owner!

Wow. That is a nice surprise. Might should measure the throttle body while you are at it just to see if there is another Easter egg.

So now I'm left with a dilemma...do I keep the cool IPD plenum, or do I sell it, pick up a stocker, and pocket a few hundred bucks...

If that's the only aftermarket performance part you have left on your car, I'd probably sell it. If you have other performance parts on your car or are planning to get some, I'd keep it.
You should check your intake plenum to make sure PO didn't swap in a X51 package for you too. LOL

The plenum is easy enough to swap out. If the throttle body turns out to be larger, I'll probably keep both.
PO spent a lot of money on this car. It's crazy to still be finding upgrades 4 years later.

Also, I'll need to find a Turbo badge, since I clearly now have turbo parts. It says so right there on the plenum.
I wonder if I can just cut some gills out of electrical tape for the rear bumper cover to give it that narrow-body-turbo-996 look.
Does anyone have an extra GReddy sticker? I definitely need one of those now as well.
Welp, off to Ebay up a fake blow-off valve.

If you get the electronic bov, you'll definitely have to get the interfooler to back it up.
If you have the 3rd radiator cutout, even easier to install. You will have to buy the extra piping though to run it all the way back to your tb though.
