I don't know anything about the conversion but word around town is by the time you get it going down the road, conv prices are quite a bit higher. Maybe around $10k-ish. Just the crate engine price is ~$6k. But again - I have no real idea.

Hey, maybe I'm onto something. Heavily modded car for heavily modded owner?

Also, the lack of dashboard pictures makes me think that it's likely lit up like a christmas tree, if functional at all.

I, for one, think the wheels look fantastic.

I love this bit though:

Last I checked there was no RS version of the MkI GT3 so how can it look like something that doesn't exist?
Plus the guy has a GT2 front bumper on it.

That's almost as bad as trying to sell a 928 as a 996.

A little confused, are we talking about the LS3 or the GT3RS or Bruce/Cait?

You sure about that? It kinda looks like it, but it kinda doesn't. Then there is that the GT2s all have the ping pong paddles rather than the much more awesome and impressive fried eggs.

Guessing maybe a fake from a 3rd party.

Anyone else reminded of that Purple (??) one that cropped up a few times in the CL thread where the fake GT2 wing was zip tied to the apparently still functional spoiler?

I kinda want to buy both, rent a track for a day, and see which loses the most pieces the quickest. Then I'd have to burn both as a service to the rest of humanity.

Board. Heh. 90's flashbacks.

Welp, I'm gonna fire up this new 19.2k badazz ZyXEL and see if I can spoof an account on one of those cyberspace boards like Compuserv or Delphi. Then, maybe I'll have a Capri Sun and IRC for a while or maybe uudecode some a.b.p.e posts.
