Are Fabspeed cats worth it?

I have had great success with the maxspeed motorsports 200 cel cats:

When my factory cats gave up, I researched and at that time, Fabspeed would not warranty their cats if you DE with your car. Maxspeed's warranty is not affected by DE track use.

Fabspeed cats are awesome so far. I just put them on my car about a week ago, one of the OEM's started rattling a few months back. They have a nice idle, just a low rumble. At 3k RMP they wake up and give an amazing tone and the car pulls harder and smoother all the way to redline. The sound is louder and freakin intoxicating, I can't stay off the throttle!
No CEL by the way... Car has taken to them just fine. Used the original O2 sensors

^^^ Don't celebrate too much yet. Each time the CEL comes on, I clear it. But, it always comes back. Sometimes takes a week, sometimes a month, but it always eventually comes back.
Do you also have Fabspeed mufflers? I can't see just the cats making that big a difference in sound.

I do not have the cats, but had Fabspeed exhaust on my 951 it never fit right. I have muffler bypass pipes from them on my 996 and they're as good as a piece of metal can get, I suppose. On my CTT I had the cat's and had no issues.
With all that said, I'm not 100% convinced with their products just due to the horrible fitment with the 951 its always left a bad taste. Also the 996 tips, look ehh at best after 2 years being installed. Will I get more items from them, or buy a car with their stuff, I'm sure I will, but for cats, with Cuda saying there is a CEL I'd look elsewhere if I were you.

I have the fabspeed cats with tubi mufflers and headers and fabspeed tips
The cats threw plenty of codes, I changed the o2 sensors and codes decreased significantly
Occasionally I get the p0420 code but I just clear it
Agree on tip fitment
Not the greatest for the $
Cats fit great, add to the sound and power but the star of the show is the tubi mufflers
Great thing about being a consumer
You get to choose who you give your money to

I have the x-pipe cats. I already had the PSE exhaust installed but it really did change the sound of my car significantly.
The cats fit great and I've been happy with their performance. But I have had several CEL errors as well. Mostly it happens if I'm puttering around town in a gear higher than I should be. It's not a big deal for me though as I just whip out the code reader and clear it. But if you can't stand for that to happen then it's something to consider.
I think they sell spacers now for the O2 sensor to keep this from happening but aside from being a slight inconvenience it really doesn't bother me. I'd rather have that than a clogged OEM cat that costs twice as much to replace.

I would expect cel lights from 100 cell cats but I've been curious why quite a few Fabspeed car owners are getting this with the 200 cell cats considering they use a premium cat element IIRC.
I found it a bit strange that they first suggested o2 spacers as a bandaid fix rather than requesting the unit back for inspection in Cuda's case(and quite possibly others).

I don't have Cats anymore, but I went with SpeedTech's X-pipe. Fabspeed charges WAY too much for a chunk of steel with some welds on it.
