Part of it will depend on the specific tire's contact patch. Not all 245's are created equal.

On a 996 25.5" is your target OD.

235/35 19 is most common at 25.5" tall. Section width is 9.5 and rim range is 8-9.5" wide.

245/35 19 is 25.7 and is about 9.8" wide. 8-9" is rim range. That's still an OK size.

245/40 19" takes you up to 26.7" and is 9.8" wide. It's doubtful these will work on a lowered car with spacers.

245/45 19 is too big.

I can tell you a 245 world challenge pirelli slick fits up front on a factory 17 x 9 rear wheel, with factory ride height and camber in spec.
Can't remember the exact size I can check it later if you want. It was tight, wouldn't go any more without a 5-7mm spacer
