I did this years ago, but used the one from a 3.8 that has the resonator. I just left it unconnected. Any ideas how it was controlled?

Vacuum actuated, as the revs went up the valve closed to give more noise and POWER!
Of course im joking about the power...
You can mod a 3.8 997 to permanently close the flap regardless of rpm too.

I have the debate in my head over keeping it standard vs using the newer looking awesome part!
